Established in 1986, Sound Technique provides specialist tuition in Electric Guitar, Acoustic/Classical Guitar, Bass, Drumming, Piano, Organ and Keyboard as well as Music Theory and Aural Training.

Sound Technique celebrates ten years at the top
Sound Technique have recently celebrated their tenth year at their current premises in Barnton, Northwich. As part of the tenth anniversary celebrations, the Northwich Guardian ran an article highlighting the success of Sound Technique's endeavors.
Simon Walker, director of the school, feels that 2009 has been a very successful year for Sound Technique, with record pupil numbers and a 100% examination pass rate. So far this year, the school has seen Grade 8 Rockschool examination success for Anna Kelly, Daniel Bird, Richard Barber, Chris Bridle, Dominic Ashton and Jonny Murray.
Star pupils include members of the band Angel Range, who won a national battle of the bands competition and performed at the Leeds Festival, and Thought Explode, who won a battle of the bands competition to perform at Whatfest.
