Sound Technique celebrates ten years at the top
Sound Technique have recently celebrated their tenth year at their current premises in Barnton, Northwich. As part of the tenth anniversary celebrations, the Northwich Guardian ran an article highlighting the success of Sound Technique's endeavors.
Simon Walker, director of the school, feels that 2009 has been a very successful year for Sound Technique, with record pupil numbers and a 100% examination pass rate. So far this year, the school has seen Grade 8 Rockschool examination success for Anna Kelly, Daniel Bird, Richard Barber, Chris Bridle, Dominic Ashton and Jonny Murray.
Star pupils include members of the band Angel Range, who won a national battle of the bands competition and performed at the Leeds Festival, and Thought Explode, who won a battle of the bands competition to perform at Whatfest.
Simon feels that the key to their success is their ability to make learning fun, creating a learning environment in which pupils can thrive. Please click on the image to view the full article.
Pupils play legendary venue

Man Made, the Northwich-based band, who are all pupils of Sound Technique are to play at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool.
Band wins Comic Relief Battle of the Bands

Local band Sweet Assault (Krystal Cooper, Karl Stockwell, Gary Twigg, Julius Schiazza and Bren Bache) won a recent battle of the bands competition hosted by Mid Cheshire College. All proceeds went to Comic Relief.
