'The Soundtech Way...'

- With Sound Technique there are no complicated Direct Debit agreements or standing orders.

- Our lessons take place weekly during term times. Lessons do not take place during school holidays as to allow for personal holidays - therefore, people do not pay for lessons they may not be able to attend.

- Pupils do not have to bring their own equipment. This eliminates the need to carry large and heavy equipment around. Lessons are taught on Sound Technique's own state-of-the-art equipment - allowing pupils to hear what they sound like on the very best equipment available.

- Lessons are taught in three purpose-built, acoustically treated teaching rooms. We feel that the environment in which pupils are taught is paramount to their continuing development as musicians. We do not teach in scout huts and village halls!

- Our pupils play at sensible volumes - we do not teach our lessons using headphones as we feel that this stifles the learning atmosphere and limits communication between the pupil and the tutor.

- We have a huge media library of musical scores, tablature books and audio recordings. We are able to tailor every lesson to the individual student as we do not have a fixed syllabus with a limited genre.

- We know that no two people are the same - we have centuries of teaching material and music available to learn - from classical to this weeks chart hits. As tutors we maintain continuous professional development and research into the very latest styles and techniques - keeping it fun at all times, but always with foundation and relevance.

- Our teaching methods have developed from over 25 years of specialist teaching. Lessons are given by the owner of the school and by fully qualified teaching staff. Our tutors are all LEA registered and independently Police checked.

- We also offer professional quality recording facilities in which to record solo, band and ensemble performances.

- We run regular ensemble/rock and pop band workshops.

- We provide GSCE and A Level preparation work as part of our affiliation with local schools, colleges and universities - teaching to the very highest standards.
